There are many training resources available for research administrators, including the options listed on this page.
Research Administration Certificate Series (RACS): The RACS is currently under construction. Sign up for the RACS mailing list to receive updates on the status of the training program. Contracts & Grants Accounting and the Sponsored Programs Office partnered to develop this certificate program for UC Davis research administrators designed to provide participants with a basic foundation for the administration of sponsored programs.
Society of Research Administrators International (SRA) and National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) present national and regional training conferences annually. They also facilitate webinars and other training opportunities for their members.
Research Administrators Certification Council offers exams for experienced research administrators to achieve designation of Certified Research Administrator (CRA®), Certified Pre-Award Research Administrator (CPRA®), and Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA).
In addition, there are numerous courses available in the UC Learning Center.
