2021-22 Self-Supporting Graduate Professional Degree Program (SSGPDP) Fees for Master of Health Services in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS

This is a 27-month (9 quarters) full-time program that prepares students to work as health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. Total program fee includes access to student services fees. Health insurance is charged separately.

    • Students have access to the Library, primary health care on campus (with co-pay), student mental health care, as well as representation and access to purchase student health insurance.

CHARGES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.  Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely.  Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year.  Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final.  Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate.  Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.

All new Undergraduate, Graduate Academic, and Graduate Professional students admitted for Academic Year 2021-22 will be charged a one-time, life-time document fee of $150.00. Graduate students in the strictly professional degrees (M.D., J.D., D.V.M. and M.B.A.) are excluded and will continue with Pay-per-service charges. The University of California Regents mandates that all students have health insurance. UC Davis automatically enrolls all registered students in the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP). If students have comparable insurance and do not want to be enrolled in UC SHIP, they must apply for a UC SHIP waiver by the date specified for their school. Cal Vet exemption covers mandatory systemwide charges assessed by academic programs that receive State support. Cal Vet waivers may not be used for self-supporting programs.

The Access to Student Services fee required by UC Davis Graduate Studies Policy GS2014-01 is included in the fee amounts above.

A one-time fee of $55 will be charged to Plan II Master’s students upon their advancement to candidacy.  For more information, please visit Graduate Studies.

The $159 International Student Administrative Fee for graduate international students will be charged one-time to all newly admitted graduate international students who are either sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status or would be sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status if physically present in the U.S. More information about the International Student Administrative Fee is available at Services for International Students and Scholars' Fees & Tuition page.
