Notes

[1] In addition to the fees in the schedule above, undergraduate students may be charged other fees such as the ones listed below:

International Student Administrative Fee:  The $159 International Student Administrative Fee for graduate international students will be charged one-time to all newly admitted graduate international students who are either sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status or would be sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status if physically present in the United States. More information about the International Student Administrative Fee is available at Services for International Students and Scholars' Fees & Tuition page.

UC Graduate and Professional Council Systemwide Fee: Effective Fall 2022, all graduate students will be charged a UC Graduate and Professional Council (UCGPC) Systemwide Fee. The UCGPC Systemwide Fee is an annual, opt-out fee of $7 per graduate student to be charged at the beginning of each academic term. The fees will be assessed in the fall, winter, and spring terms only; the fees will not be assessed during summer sessions. $3 for the fall quarter, $2 for the winter quarter, and $2 for the spring quarter.

Update: There will be no UCGPC charge for Fall 2022 term.

Equitable Access: Access to all required textbooks and course content for undergraduate students is included for a flat rate of $169 per quarter through the Equitable Access Program. Students can choose to opt out each quarter. More information about Equitable Access.

[2] All UC Davis students are required to have health insurance. In order to satisfy this requirement, all registered students are automatically enrolled in the University of California Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP). If students have comparable insurance and do not want to be enrolled in UC SHIP, they must apply for a UC SHIP waiver by the date specified for their college or school. More information about UC SHIP, including costs, coverage and other insurance details

[3] This rate assumes that the students are taking 14 units in the summer.  Summer Per Unit Fees charges are based on a per-unit charge of $279.00.

Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented. Some or all instruction for all or part of the academic year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the academic year.
