2022-23 Self-Supporting Graduate Professional Degree Program (SSGPDP) Fees for the Doctor of Nursing Practice—Family Nurse Practitioner, DNP-FNP
This is a three-year (12 quarters) full-time hybrid program that prepares graduates to deliver care as family nurse practitioners. Total program fee includes Access to Student Services fee. Health insurance is charged separately.

Students who are eligible for the 11 quarter program will pay one quarter less in fees. Quarterly fee is approximately $9,580.
Each student admitted to the Doctor of Nursing Practice—Family Nurse Practitioner (D.N.P.-F.N.P.) program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing receives financial support to cover approximately 30% of program fee. All new Undergraduate, Graduate Academic, and Graduate Professional students admitted for Academic Year 2022-23 will be charged a one-time, life-time document fee of $150.00. Graduate students in the strictly professional degrees (M.D., J.D., D.V.M. and M.B.A.) are excluded and will continue with Pay-per-service charges. The University of California Regents mandates that all students have health insurance. UC Davis automatically enrolls all registered students in the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP). If students have comparable insurance and do not want to be enrolled in UC SHIP, they must apply for a UC SHIP waiver by the date specified for their school. Effective Fall 2022, all graduate students will be charged a UC Graduate and Professional Council (UCGPC) Systemwide Fee. The UCGPC Systemwide Fee is an annual, opt-out fee of $7 per undergraduate student to be charged at the beginning of each academic term. The fees will be assessed in the fall, winter, and spring terms only; the fees will not be assessed during summer sessions. $3 for the fall quarter, $2 for the winter quarter, and $2 for the spring quarter.
Cal Vet exemption covers mandatory systemwide charges assessed by academic programs that receive State support. Cal Vet waivers may not be used for self-supporting programs.
The Access to Student Services fee required by UC Davis Graduate Studies Policy GS2014-01 is included in the fee amounts above.
A $90 Candidacy Fee is assessed to all doctoral students who have advanced to candidacy. For more information, please visit Graduate Studies.
The $159 International Student Administrative Fee for graduate international students will be charged one-time to all newly admitted graduate international students who are either sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status or would be sponsored by UC Davis for F-1 or J-1 status if physically present in the U.S. More information about the International Student Administrative Fee is available at Services for International Students and Scholars' Fees & Tuition page.
